As the nation navigates through tough times, the repercussions of the crisis are devastating, especially for the migrated workers. Keeping this mind, EeVe India and its team are working towards providing food to migrants living in Bhubaneswar.

EeVe started a 7-day food distribution program in Bhubaneswar for people living in the city who have come from other parts of Odisha as well as India. On the first day of the program, EeVe and the team distributed food packets at Tuikuti Sahi Mancheswar. Both the team and people receiving the food were obediently abiding by the social distancing norms of the government.

The uncertain situation of the crisis has left the already vulnerable class of citizens now even more unstable. These people who have come from different parts of India are now left with no shelter or food. On the second day, working along with the Konark cancer foundation, the team traveled to a rural part of Rental colony Nayapalli and distributed food to stranded workers sheltering there.

While continuing this program over different parts of Bhubaneswar, EeVe India took the help of social media platforms to urge other people to do their part as well.

On May 2nd their Facebook post read, “In times like this, we would like to urge all of you to come forward and help people in need. Together, we can beat #COVID19 “.

EeVe India’s message to all during this tough time is to stay home and stay safe but also help at any level possible to keep our fellow humans safe. People are living on the road without food and shelter that happen to be our fellow citizens. EeVe urges you to come forward and do the best you can to fight this pandemic together.
